NutriGold Krill Gold | Neptune Krill Oil in India | Clinically proven NKO | 500 mg in 120 softgels
Euphausia superba is a species of krill found in the Antarctic waters of the Southern Ocean. Krill are shrimp-like invertebrates or crustaceans that live in large schools, called swarms, sometimes reaching densities of 10,000-30,000 individual animals per cubic meter. Krill Oil is the best source of omega-3 fatty acids for the maintenance of good health.
Unlike fish oil, the Omega-3 fatty acids in Krill Oil are absorbed and carried to the body’s cells in phospholipid form. Phospholipids form the structural basis of cell membranes, so Phospholipids with Omega-3 fatty acids are easily recognized, absorbed and utilized by the body. Best of all, there is no fishy after-taste and the softgels are a lot smaller and easy-to-swallow.

Krill Oil Gold™ (500 mg) Information:
Therapeutic Daily Dosage of Krill Oil – 1000 mg vs. 600 mg
Clinical research supports the usefulness of Krill Oil at the recommended daily dosage of 1000 mg (two 500 mg softgels or 1 1000 mg softgel). However, there are products in the market with 300 mg softgels; reducing the daily dosage from 1000 mg to 600 mg (two 300 mg softgels) is merely a commercial decision rather than a scientific one and individuals consuming 1000 mg have a clear advantage. The 300 mg softgels may cost less as they use less oil in their product, but there are no real savings because the benefits will also be comparitively less.*
What is Krill Oil?
Krill Oil is a sustainable, marine source of highly bioavailable Omega-3 fatty acids. Krill Oil is rich in Omega-3 fatty acids (EPA and DHA) that are naturally bound to Phospholipids, thereby providing enhanced bioavailability. Krill Oil is also rich in Astaxanthin, a powerful antioxidant, that works synergistically with the phospholipid-bound Omega-3 fatty acids to support heart, cognitive, joint, and women’s health.
What are the active ingredients in Krill Gold™?
The active ingredients in Krill Gold are Phospholipids, Phospholipid-bound Omega-3 fatty acids, Astaxanthin, and small amounts of Choline.
How does Krill Oil compare to Fish Oil?
Although Krill Oil and Fish Oil both provide Omega-3 fatty acids, there are some important differences in the two sources with regard to composition and bio-availability. Krill Oil contains Omega-3 fatty acids that are bound to Phospholipids, which are the structural basis of human cell membranes. For this reason, the Omega-3 fatty acids in Krill Oil are thought to be more bioavailable than traditional Fish Oil. In addition, Krill Oil contains the powerful antioxidant, Astaxanthin, which works synergistically with the Omega-3 fatty acids to deliver therapeutic benefits at a lower dosage.
What is the recommended daily dosage of Krill Oil?
For cardiovascular health, we recommend a daily dose of 1,000 to 1,500 mg per day of Krill Gold™ for 3 months, followed by a maintenance dose of 500 mg thereafter. For joint health, we recommend a daily dose of 500 mg per day. For women’s health, we recommend a daily dose of 500 mg per day OR 2 g per day of Krill Gold™ 8 days prior to a menstrual cycle and 2 days during. For cognitive health, we recommend a daily dose of 500 mg per day of the Krill Gold™. For general health, we recommend a daily dose of 500 mg per day of the Krill Gold™ product.

Is Krill Gold™ free of allergens and GMOs?
Krill Gold™ is certified free of wheat, egg, soy, milk, and peanuts and confirmed free of GMOs by independent, third-party labs. It does contain ingredients derived from shellfish and individuals with a known or suspected allergy to shellfish ingredients MUST consult a healthcare provider before taking Krill Gold™.
Is Krill Gold™ suitable for Vegans / Vegetarians?

Please be advised that nutritional supplements work best when they are taken as part of a health maintenance program that includes a sensible diet rich in whole grains, fruits, and vegetables, a moderate exercise program, and the necessary lifestyle changes to support wellness.
Is Krill Gold™ safe for long-term use?
Krill Gold™ should be safe for both short-term and long-term use when used as directed and under the guidance of an licensed healthcare provider.
